HP EliteBook Folio 1020, Ultrabook Intel Core M

The latest ultrabook products from Hewlett-Packard (HP) has finally officially introduced under the name HP EliteBook Folio 1020. US company that also provides two versions, namely EliteBook Folio Folio EliteBook 1020 and 1020 Special Edition.

Both of these notebooks use the same Intel Core M which offers long lasting battery life of up to 9 hours of use. In addition, both offered with the option of up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB SSD. According to the plan, the standard version will be launched to the market in February, while the Special Edition version was released in April.

The difference between special and standard version is located at several points. The first is its weight. The standard version has a weight of 1.2 kg. While the Special Edition version weighs only 1.04 kg. The lighter weight thanks to the use of magnesium-lithium alloy chassis and carbon fiber.

Moreover, further differences can also be observed on the screen resolution. Both do have a screen size of 12.5 inches. However, only the standard version comes with a Full HD resolution. As for the Special Edition version, offered with Quad HD resolution. There has been no announcement about the price of two models of this notebook.
